Manchester United are going to be active again in the summer transfer window, as they will be galvanized by the positive changes they are seeing with the talented members of their squad actually performing well under new manager Michael Carrick.
Getting rid of Ruben Amorim proved to be a huge plus, and now the new faces like Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu, Matheus Cunha, and even young striker Benjamin Sesko in the attack are shining to a higher degree with the coaching change,
But Manchester United still have needs to fulfill. According to transfer insider Ben Jacobs in his regular appearance on The United Stand show, there are four major signings the Red Devils could potentially bring to Old Trafford this coming summer 2026 transfer window.
Jacobs thinks that Manchester United will indeed grant the fans wishes and try to bring in two elite midfielders into the fold, overhauling an aging crew that also includes monumental transfer bust Manuel Ugarte – the worst of them all.
Meanwhile, Jacobs also predicts another potential No. 9 to join Sesko, as Joshua Zirkzee remains on the transfer block. Meanwhile, he also thinks another left winger or left wing back could head to Old Trafford this summer; Yan Diomande is one player he mentioned as a target in the show.
If Manchester United can sign these four players at the positions of need, especially the midfielders, they could be in business for a dark horse Premier League title run, provided, of course, they have the right coach. Maybe it’s Carrick.
