David Moyes eyeing another success as Everton youngster scores on debut after loan exit

Everton saw a number of their youngsters leave over the winter market on loan.

Harrison Armstrong really has turned into a real success story for Everton in demonstrating how effective loans can be for young players.

David Moyes was keen to return Armstrong to Preston North End last month, but the decision was made to keep him around on Merseyside.

Although the midfielder may have stuck around for the remainder of the season, that was not the case for a number of other youngsters.

Moyes has not particularly utilised the players from Everton’s academy since he returned to the club last year.

There may be another prospect to emerge on his radar after he scored on his debut for his new club.

George Morgan scores on debut after departing Everton

In recent months, Moyes has not been overly impressed with Everton’s academy and the players it is producing.

There may be the odd exception, but more could be done in the 62-year-old’s eyes.

Striker George Morgan departed Everton on loan for AS Cannes last month and he has already hit the ground running.

Morgan was in action for the French outfit on Friday evening and he was able to find the back of the net in their 3-2 victory.

The Everton youngster drew Cannes level before a late winner was scored in what was a stunning second half turnaround.

Everton did not sign a new striker over the recent window as they were satisfied with the options they already have.

Perhaps Morgan could be another name to keep an eye out for.

Everton hold seriously exciting young striker in Braiden Graham

Although it may have been Morgan to make the headlines on Friday evening, a lot of excitement inside Everton is growing over Braiden Graham.

Playing at the U21 level, Graham simply cannot stop scoring for Everton.

The youngster is quickly making a name for himself in the academy as he looks to catch the eye of Moyes.

Graham has really impressed in Everton senior training when he was called up earlier in the campaign.

It now feels like a question of when rather than if, he will be called up to the first team squad.
