We hear on the grapevine that [West Ham’s](https://www.claretandhugh.info/nuno-drops-disasi-hint-ahead-of-burnley-trip/) starting line up this afternoon might just be left field- or ‘high-risk’ depending upon your view point. Pretty much whichever way Nuno goes in his selection strategy some will deem it so.
Start with Disasi and some will claim he isn’t fit and if the Chelsea loanee plays, it will be seen as a huge risk.
Naming a player that hasn’t started a game since mid 2025 in the line up for one of West Ham’s most important fixtures, preferring West Ham’s new number four ahead of £40 million Max Kilman will be something of a sickener for Kilman to handle in another blow to his shaky confidence.
So trying to second guess Nuno for this afternoons fixture is ‘challenging’. I wouldn’t put it past the head coach to do something “left field” in search of a clean sheet: Easy to write, of course, when the author doesn’t have to face the consequences if it goes horribly wrong.
Just possibly there’ll be a change between the posts; There does seem something afoot from all the ‘chatter’ we’ve seen about the goal keeping position. Hence our ‘best guess’:
