Former Whites favourite Junior Firpo has had his say following Leeds United’s huge win against Nottingham Forest.
Junior Firpo has made a no nonsense declaration about a Leeds United star following a 17-word message on Friday night’s display against Nottingham Forest.
Gruev, though, produced an absolute masterclass, bagging himself two assists in setting up goals for Jayden Bogle and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as part of an all-round stellar display from the Bulgarian midfielder.
“Absolutely rocking”
As far as Gruev’s display was concerned, Firpo was clearly impressed, the ex-Leeds left back taking to social media himself to reply to Gruev and declaring the midfielder as the game’s man of the match.
Taking to Instagram, Gruev wrote: “Yes lads, perfect Friday night under the lights - Elland Road was absolutely rocking tonight. Marching on together.”
The replies featured praise from Whites striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin with the word “maestro” and also praise from ex-Leeds ace Junior Firpo.
Firpo - who left Leeds last summer - wrote simply “MOTM”.
