Tottenham’s woes continue as they trail 1-0 at half-time against Manchester United.
Tottenham and Thomas Frank‘s woes continued as Spurs have gone trailing 1-0 at half-time against Manchester United, at Old Trafford. Although they came back from a 2-0 deficit against Man City last week, this might be tougher given that they are down to 10 men.
Skipper Cristian Romero was shown a straight-red card for the second time this season. The Argentine’s reckless challenge on Casemiro that saw him receive the marching orders from Michael Oliver will see Romero miss 3 games.
That said, here are the half-time player ratings for Tottenham vs. Manchester United.
Vicario – 7/10
Had it not been for their goalkeeper’s crucial saves, Spurs would have been more goals down.
Palhinha – 5/10
Was commanding at the start. Couldn’t really impose himself.
Van de Ven – 5/10
Was decent in parts, couldn’t really do much about the goal.
Romero – 1/10
Let down the team once again.
Gray – 6/10
Made on crucial interception inside the box early on in the game.
Gallagher – 5/10
Started off well with his usual lung-busting runs. Not impactful after that.
Sarr – 5/10
Not very impactful.
Udogie – 5/10
Could have been better.
Simons – 5/10
Tried his best, but couldn’t really find that proper ball into the box.
Odobert – 5/10
Couldn’t really impact the attack.
Solanke – 4/10
Had a cross come into the box, deflected off Maguire, but he couldn’t really get it into the back of the net.
