Everton came from behind to earn a fantastic victory at Fulham as David Moyes watched on from the stands

There was no dancing on the pitch from David Moyes at Craven Cottage as the Everton manager served a one-match touchline ban for venturing onto the playing surface following his Scottish jig celebrating his side’s last-gasp equaliser at the Amex Stadium a week earlier, but as Marco Silva sat in the home dugout with his head in his hands, trying to grasp what had happened with his side’s spectacular collapse, the Glaswegian gaffer was jubilant again at the top of the Riverside Stand.
Although Moyes replied that he “bloody well would do,” when asked if he’d repeat his reaction at Brighton, the yellow card ensured he was much further away from the action here, taking things in from his lofty vantage point, wearing a headset to pass on instructions, alongside club captain Seamus Coleman who was assisting him.

Until the final 15 minutes, the 62-year-old may well have been turning the airwaves blue but ultimately it was another day of joy as against all the odds, Everton recorded their sixth away win this season and 11th since Moyes returned to the club.
The top flight’s elder statesman might have replied: “They won’t be asking me,” when it was jokingly put to him that he’d be going on to Strictly after his dance moves by the Sussex coast.
But the manoeuvre he pulled off here was something that Silva never managed during his entire 18 months as Blues boss – coming from behind to win a Premier League game, something that Moyes is an old master of.
