Everton have beaten Fulham in the Premier League, and one man who may be feeling particularly smug is Jordan Pickford.
David Moyes’ side ran out 2-1 winners at Craven Cottage, with European football never looking more attainable.

The Toffees again fell behind through a Vitalii Mykolenko own goal.
But Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall really came in clutch in the second-half, scoring and then forcing an own goal from Bernd Leno.
That own goal by Leno was particularly satisfying, as the Fulham goalkeeper previously mocked Jordan Pickford when he took part in a blind raking video on TikTok.

Back in March 2024, Leno did a video for the SkySportDE TikTok channel.
His aim was to order the goalkeepers, but he wasn’t to know who was coming.

Leno had already ranked seven goalkeepers before Pickford’s name then came up
Leno struggled to rank Everton’s number one, and then said ’20’ while laughing.
He placed him seventh, with the video honouring his comment with a ’20’ at the side instead of a number ‘7’.

At the end of the video, Leno was asked which goalkeeper he’d remove to put himself in the list.
The German said he would remove Pickford, “These are all good goalkeepers, but I would put Pickford out and myself on 10.”
TikTok clip comes back to haunt Leno
Leno said that he was joking in the video, but it was hard at the time not to see it as slightly disrespectful.
Pickford has been incredible for Everton and has bailed the Toffees out so many times, playing a huge part in the club remaining in the Premier League.

And in the game today against Fulham, Pickford completely outshone Leno, making three saves inside the box from Fulham players, to Leno’s two from Everton players.
Then of course, there was the own goal by Leno, which was shockingly weak play from him.
It’s a pretty embarrassing episode for Leno, who has simply never come close to Pickford’s level as a goalkeeper.
