Senne Lammens had a quiet afternoon on Saturday as Manchester United extended their win streak to four matches in the Premier League.
Manchester United recorded a 2-0 win over Tottenham to remain in the top four after Saturday’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils opened the scoring after 38 minutes after a 10-man Tottenham side that struggled to compete with United for the rest of the match.
Kobbie Mainoo ran the show in midfield alongside Casemiro, but the win was secured when Bruno Fernandes made it 2-0 after 81 minutes.

Fernandes hailed Carrick for giving the players ‘freedom’ after the match and that showed, especially after the Portuguese captain doubled United’s lead.
The win ended a woeful run of eight games without a win against Tottenham.

The fact Lammens is rarely part of the conversation is proof that the 23-year-old goalkeeper is doing something right at Old Trafford.
Previously, when Andre Onana was first choice goalkeeper, he’d often be the centre of attention for the wrong reasons.
A look at recent results against Tottenham shows that Onana never kept a clean sheet, although he did in one meeting against the north London outfit during his time at Ajax.
Moreover, Onana conceded 12 goals in six games as United’s keeper against Tottenham.

Although Lammens didn’t have a lot to deal with against Tottenham, who registered one shot on target throughout the game, the young Belgian contributed to United’s first clean sheet in nine matches.
It was also Lammens’ fourth clean sheet of the season and he will be aiming to build on that when United travel to West Ham on Tuesday night.
Statistic shows Senne Lammens is a key player for Man Utd
Another impressive stat that goes in Lammens’ favour is that United have lost two of the 19 Premier League games that he has played in (23).
Carrick has stuck with the same defence for the past four matches, which should help Lammens keep more clean sheets between now and the remainder of the season.
It’s night and day the difference Lammens has made since replacing Onana.
Long may it continue.
