Chelsea have seen an upturn in results since their decision to turn to Liam Rosenior
Chelsea won 3-1 away at Wolves this weekend in their latest Premier League outing. Cole Palmer scored a first-half hat-trick at Molineux. The Blues are now sat in 5th place in the table after 25 fixtures.
They are one point off the top four behind Manchester United. Liam Rosenior has made a positive impression since his switch to Stamford Bridge earlier this winter. He left Strasbourg in Ligue 1 to take over from Enzo Maresca and has adapted well to life in his new role.

Chelsea keep momentum going against Wolves as Cole Palmer shines
Chelsea put in a professional performance against Wolves on Saturday. It could have been a potential banana skin for them against the basement boys. However, Rosenior’s men were comfortable and Palmer should be in confident mood after his three goals.
Speaking after the game, Rosenior said: “I don’t want him (Palmer) to change, that’s for sure. We changed the system a bit for the first time in the first half. Obviously Cole gets three goals, but some of our football was everything I wanted to see. He was a part of that.
“We know what a world-class player he is. He’s played a lot of football over the last year with not much rest. But when he’s at his best he’s unstoppable. I’m delighted to be working with him.”
He added: “He doesn’t need to change. When he’s fully fit, fully firing, he’s a magnificent footballer. But when you’re at this club with the scrutiny — which I’m starting to learn myself — you have to block out the noise and remember what a good footballer you are. I love working with him. He loves being here. Hopefully he can enjoy it between now and the end of the season because it will help him on the pitch.”
