Everton fans got a glimpse of new signing Tyrique George on Saturday and after the game David Moyes dropped his verdict on the youngster.
George completed a move to Everton on transfer deadline day, joining on loan from Chelsea.

The injury to Jack Grealish prompted Everton to act, and there are high hopes that George can deliver a similar level of output to the man he has been signed to cover.
George had looked lively in training ahead of facing Fulham.
So that had prompted many fans to urge David Moyes to start him straight away against Fulham. But the Scot resisted temptation, instead sticking with Harrison Armstrong and Iliman Ndiaye as his wide men.
George did come on in the second-half and provided some fresh impetus.
He was involved in the build-up to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s equaliser and after the game Moyes delivered his verdict after the player’s first week at the club.

There is real excitement about George given how different he is to the other wide options.
His pace, dribbling and unpredictability should really help Everton moving forward, and he’ll be determined to thrive having not been given much of a chance at Chelsea.
Monday will make his first full week at Everton, and it has certainly been a successful one for George, with Moyes dropping a glowing verdict after the win over Fulham.
He said in his post-match press conference: “We’ve quite liked what we’ve seen so far. It’s not easy to bring a young player right in.
“We’ll try and integrate him to see what he’s about. He’s settled in well, we’re happy with what we’re seeing in training. He wants to score goals from a wide area which is something we could really do with as well.
“Hopefully he’ll get used to us, and we’ll get use to him as well.”
A positive start for George
So far the noise about George has been positive, and against Fulham he looked decent after coming on.
He’s only been through the door for five minutes, but George didn’t look out of place against the Cottagers, and it sounds like he’s doing well behind the scenes, which bodes well.

Hopefully it won’t be long before he’s starting regularly and impacting games.
That is the main reason he’s been signed, and hopefully he will deliver. Clearly Moyes likes what he’s seen so far and one would think the opportunities will come.
