Now without a win in their last 16 league games, Scott Parker’s side remain 11 points adrift of safety with only 13 games remaining.
Things came to a head at Turf Moor as frustrations boiled over, with fans voicing their dissent against Parker.
Analysing the game on the BBC’s Match of the Day, Murphy didn’t mince his words.
