David Moyes served his one-game touchline ban during Everton’s 2-1 win against Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
Moyes was controversially booked in the draw at Brighton last week, as he left his technical area to celebrate Beto’s 97th-minute leveller.
That meant he had to sit in the stands at Craven Cottage yesterday alongside club captain Seamus Coleman.

Everton still managed to secure the three points without their manager on the touchline, and when Moyes was asked about his lofty viewpoint post-match, he issued a hilarious response.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Moyes joked that he would’ve run onto the pitch when Everton scored the winner against Fulham had he not been in the stands.
“I’m glad I was up there because I probably would’ve run on the pitch when we scored that second goal,” the Toffees boss admitted.

David Moyes lays out his Everton ambitions for the rest of the season
Three points in the capital moves Everton up to eighth place in the Premier League, just two points behind Brentford in seventh and Liverpool in sixth.
That said, Moyes was keen to speak about Europe in his post-match press conference yesterday: “I think we’ve got ourselves now in a position where we’re saying, ‘Hey, can we get a crack at making it into those European places?’
“I knew we had to start winning a couple of these games because these are teams that are around us in the table.
“Obviously, we want to be in a position to have a run at it in March-April, so we need to try and stay around in the picture to see if we can do it.”
Another win against Bournemouth could see Moyes’ side move into the European spots, with spring approaching.
Exciting times lie ahead for the Merseysiders.
