Milan will receive €5m of the upfront fee, plus 50 per cent of the rest of the money, while the other half will go to Real Madrid.
Jimenez has been a standout for the Cherries this term, starting 17 games in the Premier League, and featuring in all but one of the league games so far that he has been available for.
He scored his first goal for the club in January in the 3-2 victory over Liverpool from right wing, where he has been deployed at times, further forward than his preferred position of right back.
An announcement that the signing has been completed by the Cherries is expected next week.
