As the uncertainty surrounding Alvaro Arbeloa’s future continues, Jürgen Klopp has emerged as one of the candidates to take the reins at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
While no official offer has been made, the German manager has reportedly communicated his requirements through intermediaries, presenting Florentino Pérez with a specific four-man shopping list to overhaul the squad, reports Defensa Central.
Klopp’s demands at Real Madrid
Klopp’s proactive, attacking philosophy requires players who can dominate possession – a profile Real Madrid has struggled to replace since the departures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
To address this, Klopp has requested two new midfielders.
While the club has reportedly secured the return of Nico Paz, the German tactician is also eyeing a positional specialist in the mould of Kees Smith or Adam Wharton.

The defence, which has been plagued by injuries and a lack of depth, is also a priority. With David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger both nearing the end of their contracts, Klopp has demanded two new centre-backs.
Currently, Nico Schlotterbeck and academy graduate Jacobo Ramon are the most likely candidates to fill these vacancies.
Perhaps the most shocking aspect of Klopp’s unofficial proposal is his plan for the attack. The German is reportedly preparing to give Endrick a prominent role upon his return next summer and intends to make Rodrygo a cornerstone of his project.
This shift would have significant consequences for the current hierarchy. Under Klopp’s vision, the playing time of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Franco Mastantuono would be drastically reduced to accommodate his preferred duo.
Furthermore, young striker Gonzalo would likely be forced to seek a loan move as his path to the starting eleven would be effectively blocked.
