Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall releases statement to Everton fans after Fulham win

Everton have moved with two points of the European spots after the 2-1 win against Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees were really poor in the first-half but David Moyes’ side were much improved in the second period and managed to grab all three points in the capital.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was the star of the show, and credit should also go to James Garner for his impressive display in the middle of the park.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s message to Everton fans

Dewsbury-Hall has hit the ground running since returning from his hamstring injury, which kept him out for most of the festive period.

The former Chelsea midfielder was quick to thank fans for their support after the Fulham game, as he issued a short statement.

“Hi Blues, Kiernan here. Another amazing away day. Scenes at the end… yeah buzzing to be back on the scoresheet,” Dewsbury-Hall said.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall blown away how loud Everton fans are

Dewsbury-Hall expanded on how blown away he’s been by the atmosphere Everton supporters are able to generate.

“I said how amazing (the fans have) been this year. Not an empty seat in there, singing the whole game, even when we were the second-best team in the first half.

“The scenes when we scored the goals and at full-time, that’s why they travel. That’s why it makes it so special when we can turn games around and get three points.

“So, look, (it was a) really good mentality from the lads. Football’s a 90-minute game. We weren’t good in the first half, but we managed to change it in the second.

“It’s another amazing away day, which is something that we’ve been really good at this year.”

Dewsbury-Hall has been a game-changer for Everton this season and is proving to be a bargain buy from Chelsea.

The Toffees only paid £28m for the 27-year-old, which is a snip in this day and age.
