According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester United have already submitted a £35m bid to sign Real Madrid defender Eder Militao ahead of the summer transfer window. The Spanish giants are now discussing internally whether to accept the offer from the Premier League club, with Madrid debating a sale due to freeing up salary space and making room for possible new signings.
The Brazilian international has played 13 times in La Liga for Madrid this season, with 12 of those being starts. The 28-year-old certainly isn't a guaranteed starter, but he features regularly enough that a £35m offer from United might take some deliberation.
Although predominantly a centre-back, Militao has also been utilised on the right-hand side of defence during his career. His versatility could make him a useful option for the Red Devils, adding much-needed experience to their defensive line.

Militao Could Bring Winning Mentality to Man Utd
Eder Militao warming up for Real Madrid
United are set to lose Casemiro in the summer, with the Brazilian confirming that he will be leaving the club on a free transfer. Although the former Madrid man has shown inconsistencies since his arrival, there's no doubt he brings plenty of experience and a willing mentality that United will need to replace in the market.
Militao could follow a similar path to Casemiro and bring exactly what they'll lose when the United midfielder departs. Casemiro also left Madrid to join United, bringing experience and a host of trophies under his belt. Militao's career path would be almost identical, winning three La Liga titles, two Champions League, and a Club World Cup, among others, during his time at Madrid.
