Madonna has revealed she took her “second Uber ever” this weekend in a bizarre twist for the Queen of Pop. She admitted she needed to catch the Uber as she went to watch her twin daughters play football for Spurs’ Women’s Academy.

The singer, 67, shared a snap that looked to be taken in a taxi over the course of the weekend as she headed over to back her daughters. She was seen in the snap with model boyfriend Akeem Morris, who is thought to be 29-years-old.

The pair were travelling to the Tottenham Hotspur training ground where her youngest children — adopted 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere — were playing for a special youth team to develop into future star football players. But Madge, who has multiple homes in London, wasn’t too impressed with the British weather.

Taking to her social media, the singer was clearly not won over as she posted a photo of the pitch as she willed her kids on to victory. She went on to caption: “I will pay G*D for some sunshine.”

In another snap she cheered on her girls, posting: “Go Stella and Estere!” It is currently unknown whether the twins were able to secure the win for Tottenham Hotspur.

Madonna is a mum of six, two of which are her darling daughters Stella and Estere. The twins were adopted through her charity, Raising Malawi, which she founded in 2006 to help provide health and education services in the African country.

Stella and Estere were born in 2012 and the Crazy For You singer adopted them at five years old. Madge later told a magazine: “They’ve learned, in time, that I’m their mother and nothing is going to change that.”

But despite Estere and Stella's apparent knack for football, they are not the only children from Madge's brood who have gone down the route of football stardom. Previously, the Vogue singer's son David Banda, 20, explained that he had aspirations for playing on the pitch himself.

He explained that he had long had dreams of getting onto the pitch to play the beautiful game. He was since able to hone his craft, and went on to play for the likes of Benfica Youth in Lisbon and Juventus Academy, in the United States, from 2018 to 2020.

However, since then, the star has decided to leave the world of football behind and has since taken up music as his latest passion and is now living in New York, in what sources have described as a modest apartment in The Bronx. However, it has not been plain sailing for the star, as insiders reported that he had been struggling with "not having enough" money to get by since leaving home.

Speaking to the Sun in 2024, he said he was happy to be living by himself, but admitted there were challenges: "It’s lovely to experience it being nine o’clock at night, me being hungry and realising that I don’t have enough money to get food and scavenging. It’s fun to be young."
