There's just something about playing under the floodlights at Elland Road that feels special. The home support always do their job of creating an electric atmosphere, one that can be intimidating for rival players, but there's no doubting the inspiration it gives Leeds United's squad when they take to the pitch for a night game.

It's a special place to play. The players know it, the staff know it and what's key, opponents know it. Now some stats have emerged which just rubber-stamp the way Leeds become a different beast when playing at home on an evening.

As reported by James Marshment (@marshyleeds), Leeds boss Daniel Farke boasts an incredible unbeaten record in night games at Elland Road.

In matches played under floodlights since the German took over at Leeds, he has managed 21 games, with Leeds winning 18 pf those matches and drawing three. It's a stunning stat that only serves to highlight how good the Whites are at home on a night time.

Leeds next play a night game at home on Tuesday March 3 when facing off against fellow promoted team Sunderland, with no more evening matches currently scheduled at Elland Road this season.
