Eddie Howe has been speaking to the media this morning, offering an update on injuries and availability ahead of tomorrow night’s trip to Spurs.

Starting with Lewis Miley, Howe confirmed that he’s had a dead leg after taking a ‘nasty bang’. He will be assessed today to see how he’s progressing, giving him a chance of returning at Tottenham.

The Geordie midfielder hasn’t featured since our 1-1 draw at PSG, missing our last three games against Liverpool, Man City and Brentford.

Anthony Gordon also has a chance of returning and will be assessed today, with Howe hoping to see a ‘big improvement’ in him today after a hamstring issue at Man City forced him to miss Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Brentford.

As for Joelinton, who hasn’t featured since our 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa last month, Howe revealed that the Brazilian won’t be making the trip to North London due to an ongoing groin issue.

> _“Miley I need to see today, we’ll get another update on his progress. He got a nasty bang to his leg, so it’s like a dead leg that’s dragged on a little bit longer than we thought, so we’ll see how he is._

Elsewhere, Fabian Schar – spotted on crutches at St James’ Park on Saturday – will miss out again, alongside Tino Livramento and Emil Krafth.
