Manchester United fitness boost as star included in West Ham squad after injury scare but one…

Man Utd travel to face West Ham United in the Premier League fixture on Tuesday night.

The Cameroon international was spotted limping away from Old Trafford after the weekend win over Tottenham Hotspur, but is set to be available for the trip to East London. United travelled down to the capital on Monday afternoon and were spotted boarding a train at Stockport station.

Mbeumo was pictured alongside teammates Matheus Cunha and Amad Diallo, which will be a huge boost to head coach Michael Carrick for the next match. The 26-year-old has scored three goals in the first four matches under the new head coach and was on target again as they defeated Tottenham at the weekend.

Manchester United travelling squad vs West Ham

Manchester United are back in action when they travel to face West Ham in the Premier League. United have won their first four matches under head coach Michael Carrick and will hope to make it five in a row at the London Stadium in midweek.

Bryan Mbeumo has been named in the travelling squad for the match, with Matthijs De Ligt and Mason Mount both set to miss the match due to injury. United are hopeful they will have Mount available for the trip to face Everton later in the month, but they are still unsure when De Ligt might return to action.

Patrick Dorgu remains a long-term injury absentee after his hamstring injury against Arsenal last month, while teenager Tyler Fletcher has been included in the travelling party after he made his first-team debut at the weekend. There was no sign of defender Leny Yoro with the rest of the squad after he was an unused substitute against Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.

"Mason will be probably not for Tuesday, probably after, but definitely going into the Everton game, yeah, he'll be back," Carrick said in his pre-match press conference. "Matta, we'll see how he develops over the, you know… the Everton game feels like a long time away at the moment, so we'll see how he develops, but he's positive, he's moving in the right direction, but Mason's a little bit closer than him."

Manchester United confirmed travelling squad vs West Ham: Bayindir, Heaton, Lammens; Maguire, Martinez, Mazraoui, Heaven, Dalot, Shaw, Malacia; Casemiro, Ugarte, Mainoo, Fletcher, Fernandes; Amad, Mbeumo, Cunha, Zirkzee, Sesko.
