Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche is under increasing pressure at The City Ground, and it's time for Evangelos Marinakis to pull the trigger, bringing in Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna.
GIVEMESPORT sources confirmed last week that Dyche is under increasing pressure after their loss against relegation rivals Leeds United on Friday night in the Premier League. It's understood that Marinakis is prepared to make a change in the dugout if he feels he needs to, meaning they could be in the market for their fourth manager of the season.
Dyche is currently the third manager to take charge of Forest this season. The former Everton boss replaced Ange Postecoglou back in 2025, after he was brought in for Nuno Espirito Santo, who lasted just a few weeks in the 2025/2026 campaign.
Forest Need to Target Kieran McKenna
Ipswich Town's Kieran McKenna
If Forest are to make a change in the dugout in the coming weeks, they need to be doing everything they can to bring in Ipswich boss McKenna. The former Manchester United coach has done a phenomenal job with Ipswich, getting them promoted from League One to the Premier League previously.
Although Ipswich were relegated under McKenna, he's now got them back in the fight for promotion once again. The relegation shouldn't be used to beat McKenna with, as the squad he had at his disposal was comfortably one of the worst in the league.
If McKenna, who has been described as 'world-class', was given Forest's squad to work with, there's no doubt he'd have them competing at a much higher level than we're currently seeing.
McKenna deserves another chance of working in the Premier League, but convincing him to leave Ipswich might be the difficult part of a potential deal.

Sean Dyche Needs to go

Forest looked as though they could sail away from the relegation zone just a few weeks ago, but with West Ham picking up some impressive results of late, they are facing a real threat of dropping into the bottom three. Dyche has struggled to get a tune out of a highly talented Forest squad, and Marinakis needs to bite the bullet and make the change.
It's certainly not ideal for Forest to be moving on to their fourth manager of the season already, but we are leading to a crucial situation. This week could be huge, with Forest facing bottom-side Wolves on Wednesday evening.
