Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber have been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Year at the London Football Awards 2026.
The pair are joined on the shortlist by Brentford forward Igor Thiago, Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo and Fulham’s Harry Wilson.
The Gunners lead the way overall with nine nominations across their men’s and women’s teams, with David Raya shortlisted for Best Goalkeeper and Mikel Arteta a contender for Best Manager.
Arteta’s side currently sit six points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, hoping to end their 22-year wait for the title in May.
Following the women’s team’s success last season, Alessia Russo, Emily Fox and Kim Little have been nominated for Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Year, alongside Chelsea midfielder Kiera Walsh and Tottenham Hotspur’s Olivia Holdt.
Eberechi Eze and The Eze Foundation are also being recognised for their community work, joining QPR’s Jimmy Dunne and Millwall's Luke Jensen, while Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy has received a nomination on the women’s side.
Former Arsenal goalkeeper and Honorary President of Willow Foundation, David Seaman MBE, said: “We’ve got an incredible list of nominees for our 2026 awards, recognising the very best of our footballing community here in London.
“So many of our clubs have achieved remarkable things both on and off the pitch this season, and we’re excited to celebrate these accomplishments next month, all whilst raising vital funds for Willow.”
The London Football Awards 2026 will take place on Thursday 5 March at Exhibition White City in aid of charity partner Willow Foundation.
