**David Moyes has revealed what Everton need to secure European football.**
Tuesday’s visit of Bournemouth could see Moyes’ side leapfrog Liverpool and put themselves potentially within three points of a Europa League position.
The Blues could still claim qualification with a sixth-place finish as the Premier League looks set to be allocated five Champions League spots next season.
But despite his players now on a five-game unbeaten run, Moyes believes they will require several unexpected results during the season’s final weeks.
He said: “I think that for us to do it, we’re probably going to have to win a couple of games which maybe we’re unexpected to win in the run-in.
“So we’re going to have to be good, we’re going to have to try and win the games that we can do.
“The problem with the Premier League at the moment is more to do with the level of the teams you’re coming up against.
“Fulham were on a really good run before we went there on Saturday. Leeds United we had recently have been on a good run and even Wolves.
“Sometimes just getting teams at different times in the season can play a part.
“We come up against a Bournemouth team who, I think, are in a run of five unbeaten at the moment and brought in a new players as well.
“So a lot of do with your timing and who you get at different times in the Premier League can make a big difference.
“We’re going to have to be at our best to get a result.”
Although Everton have enjoyed a number of impressive results on the road, the Cherries’ visit throws their patchy home form freshly under the spotlight.
Just five victories have been celebrated by supporters at Hill Dickinson Stadium in all competitions as the club adapts to its new surroundings.
“I don’t know how Arsenal were when they first moved into their new stadium. I know it was difficult for West Ham,” added Moyes.
“The only thing about Tottenham is it was on the same site but the other clubs were different sites and new locations for everybody.
“We’ve all felt pretty good in the stadium. I think other clubs have quite enjoyed coming to the stadium, enjoying a new stadium.
“But we have to turn that into a bit more like Goodison and a place where we can feel we can win more games than we have at the moment.
“Let’s hope we can do it.”
