Everton vs Bournemouth: Premier League Gameweek 26,2026

Everton return to the Hill Dickinson and host Bournemouth in what could be another key game for the battle for Europe.

Last time out, the Blues won against Fulham and find themselves in eighth place, three points ahead of their opponents.

David Moyes’s side have struggled in recent weeks at home, with the last win at Hill Dickinson being back in December, against Nottingham Forest.

With their strong away form, the Blues must try to replicate that at their new home if they want to compete in Europe next season.

The visitors have enjoyed a recent revival, going unbeaten in their last five games, with three wins and two draws. Prior to this, the Cherries went 11 games without a victory, which included draws to Chelsea and Manchester United.

Jack Grealish scored the only goal when these two sides faced each other earlier in the season, and both are in the mix for European football next season.

Despite losing Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City, Andoni Iraola’s side haven’t seemed to be missing the former Cherrie.

Youngster Eli Junior Kroupi has been a standout this season, scoring eight goals in the Premier League.

Everton

Jack Grealish is Everton’s only absence as David Moyes has started to get key players back in recent weeks.

Jarrad Branthwaite, who started on the bench against Fulham, could return to the starting 11. Apart from the injury to Grealish, it’s the first time this season that the Blues have options off the bench.

Last time out, Seamus Coleman, Adam Azougo and Dwight McNeil weren’t in the squad.

Bournemouth

David Brooks returned to the Bournemouth squad in the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa, as he missed the previous three games with an ankle injury.

The visitors have a full squad available for the trip to Merseyside.

Likely Line-up

Everton

Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Branthwaite; Gana, Garner; Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, George; Beto

Bournemouth

Petrovic; Jimenez, Diakite, Sensi, Truffert; Scott, Cook; Brooks, Junior Kroupi, Rayan; Evanilson

Key Players

Everton – Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

The midfielder was vital in Everton’s turnaround against Fulham, with the 27-year-old bagging Everton’s equaliser, tapping home from a Vitalii Mykolenko cross.

Dewsbury-Hall has recently returned from injury, and his impact has been key for the Blues as they look to maintain their current unbeaten run.

The 27-year-old is the glue to Everton’s attack as he has the ability to get a hold of the game and drive Everton forward, and has scored five goals this season.

Bournemouth- Rayan

It’s been some introduction to the Premier League for Bournemouth’s new man. Signed from Brazilian outfit Vasco De Gama for a fee which is around £30m.

The 19-year-old scored his first goal in the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa. Rayan ran at Lucas Digne and beat him with ease, drifting inside the box before firing home.

In the 2-0 victory over Wolves, Rayan showed a glimpse of what he can offer Iraola’s side with blistering pace and powerful marking.

Everton will need to watch out for Bournemouth’s new man.
