**[David Moyes](https://www.vavel.com/en/football/2026/02/09/everton/1250294-everton-vs-bournemouth-premier-league-gameweek-262026.html)** has stated that his side must continue to grow as they find themselves in the race for a European spot.

The last few seasons have been exhausting both on and off the field for the club, but since Moyes has returned to the club, Everton find themselves in sixth spot.

Despite sitting on 37 points, the Blues have struggled in recent times at their new home, something which the 63-year-old has acknowledged.

_"We've got to try to turn our away form into good home form. We need to pick up a few more wins at our stadium._

_"We've got a great new stadium. We're going to be there for a long, long time. So, the sooner we get used to it, the better."_

Moyes has expressed his ambitions for his side to push towards the top end of the league table.

"_This club is too big, too strong a football club. It shouldn't have been in that position._( recent relegation scares)

_"But it shows you that there are football clubs who have dropped through the divisions, but this club is too big for that._

_"That's the way I'm looking at it. I'm thinking we've got to keep going, keep growing. We won't grow all the time but we've got to keep growing and getting away from the feeling that we're a team that should be near the bottom._

_"We want to be a top team who's challenging with the top teams."_

Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been a huge boost for the Everton manager and proved his worth with his performance last time out against Fulham.

_"He said he would score me goals, so we've certainly not been disappointed with him. We've been so, so pleased with him._

_"He was a big miss for us in December and January. I hope he keeps doing it. I think he's still got a little bit to do to get where he was, but he's picked himself up well, and he's going well."_
