After conceding twice at the start of the second half, Antoine Semenyo scored Bournemouth’s first in the 87th minute, before stoppage time goals from Lewis Cook and Luis Sinisterra sealed the comeback.
Iraola said it was “by far” the best comeback of the season and it is a “lovely memory”.
The Cherries won the award in the 23/24 campaign, for coming back from 3-0 down to beat Luton, and in the 22/23 season for their 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest under Gary O’Neil.

And the boss still feels aggrieved that Bournemouth weren’t given the award for the third season in a row.
“We had won this award the previous two seasons and it was the third one and it was for me the most clear improbable comeback that will ever happen,” Iraola said.
“So if we didn't win this one, I think we are not winning it again!”
He continued: “It's not like something like now they give rewards because of the saves and goal of the month, and this is very subjective and okay, they've decided this. Okay, but this was, I think, the most obvious one.
“It's like, it's the most improbable comeback award. It's just the definition of what happened there. And I don't know who won it, but definitely was not the same as our game.”
Iraola said it would be unlikely that a comeback like theirs at Goodison Park will ever be repeated.

“You never know in football, but it's very difficult,” he said.
“Even I remember two seasons ago we won it because the comeback against Luton, 3-0, we were losing, but you have a lot more time.
“We had all the second half to score four goals. Still amazing, but it never can happen like three goals we scored in like last— I think the first one we scored in 86 minutes or something like this. It's difficult.
“We can do it, but it's very difficult to repeat this.”
