The 44-year-old United legend has overseen a dramatic turnaround in form for the Premier League side since his return to Old Trafford last month.
Man Utd hosted Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon and the Red Devils secured a comfortable 2-0 win over 10-man Spurs on the day.

Paul Merson raves about the key appointment made under Michael Carrick ahead of West Ham vs Man Utd
Manchester United have kept two clean sheets in their last four Premier League matches under Red Devils interim head coach Michael Carrick.

Carrick’s appointment as Man Utd interim head coach also saw the arrival of former England assistant manager Steve Holland at the Premier League club.
Steve Holland was the right-hand man to Sir Gareth Southgate for England and the 55-year-old United assistant head coach has been widely hailed for his work.

Speaking in his column for Sportskeeda, Paul Merson praised what Holland has brought to the table as Carrick’s right-hand man in United’s last four matches.
“Manchester United are playing some good football,” he said.
“The impact made by Steve Holland cannot be overlooked. He has helped Michael Carrick, thanks to his experience of being a good coach at the highest level.”

Paul Merson’s scoreline prediction for West Ham and Man Utd’s Premier League clash at the London Stadium
Merson believes that United legend Carrick will face a real tough test on Tuesday evening and added that West Ham could cause “trouble” for Man Utd on the night.
“But this is still a tough game for Manchester United,” he continued.
“West Ham are fighting for their survival and I expect them to trouble the visitors.
“Thanks to their recent performances, West Ham don’t have to go all out in this game and I think that will suit them against United.”
Merson expects United to drop points for the first time under Carrick and has backed a 1-1 Premier League scoreline for the upcoming match at the London Stadium.
