West Ham and Brighton tussling to sign Bayern Munich player – Price ‘likely to skyrocket’

West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion are among the clubs in the picture to sign Bayern Munich’s Noel Aseko.

That’s according to Transfermarkt.de, who make it clear it’s their own information on West Ham and Brighton.

The 20-year-old joined Bayern Munich’s academy from Hertha Berlin in 2022 and hasn’t made his senior debut yet.

In February 2025, Bayern Munich allowed him to join Hannover 96 on loan until the end of this season. The defensive midfielder struggled to get minutes in the second half of last season.

The Germany U21 international’s situation has improved a lot this season. He’s played 1,484 minutes from 24 matches in all competitions.

Hannover have an option to make his stay permanent for around €1m. In the event of a sale, Bayern Munich can immediately bring him back by activating their €2.4m buyback option.

Leon Goretzka has already announced his decision to leave the Bundesliga winners after this season. This could open the door for Aseko to return to the Allianz Arena.

At the same time, the ‘list of concrete interested parties in signing Aseko is growing’. West Ham and Brighton are both keen and have positioned themselves to sign him.

The English clubs aren’t alone as Villarreal and three unnamed Bundesliga sides have made approaches.

Aseko’s value increased from an estimated €900k to €6m last year. Therefore, Transfermarket.de state that if there’s a sale in the summer, his price is ‘likely to skyrocket and could reach tens of millions.’

Sport Witness covered West Ham and Brighton interest in Boca Juniors’ Milton Delgado in the winter market. The pair have now turned to Noel Aseko.
