Aston Villa put another point on the Premier League board over the weekend with a 1-1 draw away at AFC Bournemouth.

Unai Emery’s men were aiming to return to winning ways on the south coast, and took a one-goal lead into half-time thanks to Morgan Rogers’ strike.

But a goal from new signing Rayan early in the second half split the spoils at the Vitality Stadium, as a rare week without a midweek fixture drew to a close.
