Nottingham Forest are staring relegation back to the Championship full in the face if current performances are anything to go by.
Advocates of Sean Dyche will point to the fact that, in terms of the last six games, Forest are about halfway up the form table, but it’s the style of play that is causing the most concern.
Forest have been given a number of chances to pull clear of the relegation pack in recent weeks, with the Reds fluffing every single opportunity given to them.

A 3-1 defeat to Leeds, coupled with a big win for West Ham away at Burnley, has left the gap to just three points between the Reds and the Hammers.
Fans and pundits alike are starting to grow increasingly frustrated with Dyche over his bizarre selections and game plans, with Kelvin Wilson the latest to throw his thoughts into the mix.

Kelvin Wilson thinks Nottingham Forest have given up on Sean Dyche
The game plan at Leeds was non-existent, and anyone defending Dyche after the game is beyond deluded.
He chose to place a square peg in a round hole by putting Zach Abbott at right-back, and it’s no surprise the youngster endured a torrid assignment.

Having Neco Williams suspended clearly didn’t help Forest’s cause at Leeds, but this performance has happened far too often since Dyche came to the club.
Wilson doesn’t think the players are currently having Dyche’s game plan – or lack of it – and isn’t sure what is going on at the football club right now.
He told the Forest Focus podcast: “Either the game plan has absolutely gone out of the window or the players just aren’t listening to him, like you say.
“I didn’t see the pattern of play or even how they wanted to play, were they going to sit back, soak up the pressure and play on the counter-attack? It didn’t look that way, we looked wide open! Were we playing down the wings, looking to get loads of crosses in, it didn’t look that way either.
“I’ve not seen a game plan yet and I think I said this before about Sean Dyche, there’s not, I don’t see a pattern of play. I don’t see what the intentions are. I think we talk about scoring goals, and it’s hard for say Gibbs-White and Anderson to score goals when they’re having most of their possession in their own half and it’s okay just getting it and passing it side to side, but that’s not penetrating or hurting anyone, it’s pointless!
“I can’t remember seeing Gibbs-White against Leeds, I can’t remember seeing him much apart from the header down for Dominguez and that was in their box. It’s like the game plan, for him to say there was a game plan, that’s my concern, whether the game plan was absolutely useless or the players just kind of stuck two fingers up to it and said I’m not having that, it’s not my game, whichever it was, none of them worked!”
Marinakis will be watching Dyche with intrigue
Marinakis has pumped far too much money into the club to get stabilised in the Premier League, and he won’t want to slip back into the Championship.
Under Dyche, there is a real sense that Forest are dangerously close to dropping out of the Premier League, especially with West Ham picking up of late.

Wilson is spot on with his appraisal, and although the happy clapping supporters won’t like it, the clear lack of any real plan in every game Forest play is a worry.
Frankly, the sort of football Forest play just isn’t sustainable, and what should have been one of the best seasons in recent memory is proving nothing short of a disaster.
Marinakis won’t want to drop into the bottom three, and if that becomes a reality in the coming weeks, Forest might be looking for a new head coach once again.
