Everton will be busy this summer in what will be the second major transfer window for The Friedkin Group.
Everton had a quiet January, only signing Tyrique George on loan from Chelsea in the end.
There was a lot of speculation throughout, but in the end Everton decided not to splash the cash, which will allow for more spending in the next window.
Do you think the Hill Dickinson Stadium is attracting better players? 🏟️

Had Jack Grealish not got injured, the likelihood is that even George wouldn’t have been signed.
The full-back positions will be targeted this summer, as will a new striker.
But Everton will also look to sign a new centre-back.
And apparently, Marcos Senesi is a target for Everton, and there’s something about him that’s quite ideal.

Of course, Everton are facing the possibility of losing Michael Keane at the end of the season.
Keane was close to leaving last year, but ultimately signed a one-year extension.
It remains to be seen if that will happen again, but given the player’s age it is perhaps unlikely.
So Everton need to be on alert for potential replacements – and Senesi would certainly be a decent one.
One of the intriguing things about Keane has always been how much threat he offers despite being a centre-back.
It’s regularly been suggested Keane is the best finisher at Everton, and he is capable of causing real havoc.
In 253 appearances for the club, he’s scored 19 goals and made 10 assists. So that could mean Everton lose a lot of attacking output.
Senesi is not far off Keane in terms of attacking output by a central defender. He has six goals and nine assists in 115 appearances for Bournemouth. He finished the 2023/24 season with the most goal involvements of any centre-back in the league.
He also chipped in at his previous club Feyenoord, scoring nine and assisting seven in 116 appearances.
What Andoni Iraola has said about Senesi
It will be no surprise if many clubs are looking to sign Senesi this summer, especially since he would be a free transfer.
He has just been a consistent performer in the Premier League for Bournemouth, and Andoni Iraola is certainly a fan.
He said of his centre-back in December (via Bournemouth Echo): “On the ball, off the ball, he understands very well also the way we want to play and for us it’s very valuable. I don’t think it’s a big secret.

“I think he’s very confident on the ball and also he makes the ones next to him more confident.
“This is something that when you feel confident, the one next to you looks a little bit better and the other one looks a little bit better and is good for the team.”
Everton need to spend this summer to raise the quality of the squad. But the club should also be on the lookout for bargains and Senesi would certainly be one of those.
