Marcus Rashford's future now of interest to Everton as transfer update emerges - report

Marcus Rashford could actually play a huge role in the future of one of Everton’s players this summer.

The winter window may have just ended, but the focus is already being shifted to what could lie ahead for Everton in the summer market.

David Moyes only saw one new face come through the doors despite the acknowledgment that the Blues had numerous areas to improve.

Heading into the window, The Friedkin Group were believed to be backing Everton financially in the market.

Perhaps the opportunities were just not there for the Toffees, who were able to avoid losing any big name players.

The England international is currently playing his football over in Spain on a season-long loan deal with Barcelona.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be keeping an eye on the 25-year-old’s position at Everton.

During a recent interview, Ndiaye expressed his desire to play European football with Everton.

It is now up to the Blues to make that dream come true for Ndiaye, with exit rumours only expected to grow over the coming months.

Everton must do everything they can to keep Ndiaye

The impact which Ndiaye has on the pitch for Everton does not need explaining, but keeping him at the club has even greater importance than his returns in games.

The Friedkins are looking to take Everton forward over the coming years and keeping a player like Ndiaye is crucial for that.

Not only does he provide the results on the pitch, but keeping him shows the change in Everton’s stance since the takeover.

For years, Everton have offloaded their best players due to the financial regulations.

The club no longer needs to worry about that, but losing players to other Premier League clubs would not reflect well on the American owners.
