David Moyes says James Garner makes Everton a better team
Speaking earlier this season, Moyes explained that Garner has been instrumental in progressing Everton away from a counter-attacking team and more towards a footballing outfit.
“He’s made us a much better footballing team; he’s made us much more careful in how we build and how we play,” the Toffees boss stated.
“He’s made such a difference to the team. He’s made us more creative and, sort of, cultured in the way we play.
“He might be going under the radar a wee bit – he’s playing so well. He does the work; he covers big distances for us. He’s an intelligent boy, as well. He wants the team to do well, and he’s certainly helped us play better.”
Jamie Carragher has been really impressed with Garner this term, so clearly the neutrals are starting to take notice.
