West Ham can change relegation narrative tonight

**West Ham can seriously shift the narrative on Premier League survival this season, with Manchester United set to visit the London Stadium tonight.**

Despite the recent upturn in form and results – with 4 wins in 5 games in all competitions, this is without a doubt set to be the biggest test for Nuno & the Hammers in recent weeks.

There is no denying that West Ham are a side in form, with a significant improvement in all aspects of our play, which has some wondering now whether the Great Escape Part 2 could well be on the cards.

Manchester United, who are very much in-form themselves, is a game which has the potential to shift the dread of relegation away from east London, and possibly even share some of it north of the river towards bitter rivals Spurs. But there is of course a job to be done first.

The reality is, most fans would take a draw ahead of this encounter. But make no mistake, a win is achievable.

Speaking ahead of the game, The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee have shared their thoughts, with both wary of what the test could well be later for Nuno & the players.

“Another big game and it’s a hard one to call as both teams are in good form,” stated Walker. “I think I’ll go for a score draw – which I would take!”

Ex feels that despite Manchester United’s form of late, they are not unbeatable and there is a feeling a big moment could be realised under the floodlights tonight.

“Former Hammer Michael Carrick has rejuvenated Manchester United to a much better team than they have here for a while,” added Ex. “They represent tough opposition but not unbeatable.

“We need to go out with confidence and real attacking intent and if we can get a positive result this could be a massive bonus for our season.”
