Anton Stach returns, £18m Leeds United ace dropped – Leeds predicted XI vs Chelsea

Leeds United

Leeds United are back in action on Tuesday night as they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The Whites are coming off the back of a huge win over Nottingham Forest in the league.

Since West Ham also won on the weekend, the gap between Leeds and the relegation zone remains the same. Both sides are in action on Tuesday night as Daniel Farke’s side face Chelsea and the Hammers take on Manchester United. Last time out the Whites beat the Blues at Elland Road, outclassing Enzo Maresca in the process.

But now, Liam Rosenior is in charge and the former Hull boss has began his career on fire; seven wins in his first nine games in charge of the club.

Team news ahead of Tuesday night’s clash

Chelsea will come into this game with almost a full complement after Liam Rosenior confirmed that Cole Palmer will be available for the game. The attacker went off this weekend after scoring a hattrick, with most fans thinking it was a serious knock. Now their fears have been cleared ahead of the game.

The Whites on the other hand have some concerns ahead of the game; Daniel Farke confirmed that Pascal Struijk would miss the game. Dominic Calvert-Lewin also has an illness, so will be classified as a doubt, but will likely play on Tuesday night. Outside that, there are no major concerns for Leeds United.

Leeds United predicted XI vs Chelsea

Farke might not make many changes to the team that beat Nottingham Forest on Friday night; Karl Darlow will be expected to keep his place in goal after his brilliant performance at Elland Road. He has done enough to keep Lucas Perri on the bench after the Brazilian had some poor performances. In defence, James Justin is expected to continue filling in at center back now that Struijk is out; Jaka Bijol will most likely return to the lineup too.

Anton Stach is expected to come back into the team after missing out on the last game, and Ilia Gruev will keep his place after a fantastic performance against Forest.

Aaronson will keep his place, and Calvert-Lewin is expected to shake off his illness before the game. There will be a huge decision on Farke’s hands when it comes to Noah Okafor, after the winger impressed in the last win.
