Report: Everton learn Richarlison's 'most likely' next move as Tottenham 'agreement' already in …

Everton fans will be hoping to see another striker signed when the summer transfer window opens for business.

There were a number of names being suggested for Everton to potentially land in the recent window market.

David Moyes decided to stick with his two strikers for the remainder of the season, with a recent upturn in their form.

Support will be needed in the summer and Everton News understands that Everton do hold an interest in Richarlison.

The Brazilian is currently sidelined with an injury, but his future at Tottenham Hotspur remains under real scrutiny.

“Richarlison remains one of Flamengo’s priority targets for mid-year. Beyond Flamengo’s interest, the club has also learned – and we reported this – that Richarlison himself is working towards leaving Tottenham at the end of the season, for a price that’s attractive for Flamengo: around €25 million,” said journalist Bruno Andrade.

“I’ve said this many times: Flamengo have set aside around €30 million for a forward. In fact, that was the amount Flamengo were willing to pay – and the maximum they would pay – for Caio Jorge. So you had €30m for Caio Jorge, €25m for Richarlison. That’s not outrageous.

“This is because Richarlison already has a verbal agreement with Tottenham to leave after the European season, after the World Cup. We still need to see whether Richarlison will go to the World Cup or not.

“€25 million would be enough to take Richarlison away from Tottenham in mid-year.”

When fit, Richarlison has been in fine form for Tottenham, with seven Premier League goals to his name this season.

Richarlison will turn 29 in a few months’ time, but the suggested £21.5m price tag could appeal to Everton a lot.

Who could Richarlison leave Tottenham for?

Everton are not the only club to have shown an interest in Richarlison, with clubs from Saudi Arabia also keen.

It has been previously suggested that Richarlison is open to a return to Brazil.

However, the journalist was keen to rule that possibility out, with Turkey becoming the ‘most likely’ landing spot for the striker.

“One important point: Tottenham believe Richarlison’s priority is to stay outside Brazil. There are two main scenarios: Turkey or Saudi Arabia,” Andrade added.

“But Saudi football is currently a mess – lots of controversy, conflicting information, investments, clubs being sold, delayed wages – so Turkish football has become the most likely competitor for Richarlison, without completely ruling out Saudi Arabia.”
