Eddie Howe has opted to shuffle his pack in north London, making four changes to the team that kicked off Saturday's home defeat to Brentford.
Hall drops out of the starting side after playing a lot of football in the last couple of months, with Dan Burn replacing him at left-back.
Tonali joins Hall on the substitutes' bench, with Jacob Ramsey returning to the starting side as part of a midfield three that also features Bruno Guimaraes and Joe Willock.
Anthony Elanga is back in the starting XI, and is set to line up on the right-hand side after performing creditably as a second-half substitute against Brentford.
And Anthony Gordon has been given the green light to start after recovering from hamstring injury, with the England international set to lead the line in the absence of Yoane Wissa and Nick Woltemade, both of whom are on the bench.
Lewis Miley does not feature in the squad as he has not recovered from the dead leg that has been hampering him in the next couple of weeks. Miley could be sidelined for another couple of weeks with the issue.
