Aston Villa had to settle for a draw against AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday but at least they scored a goal.
Villa didn’t do much damage when it comes to Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 25. The players directly involved in the goal made a modest contribution but it was otherwise yet another week of blanks for FPL players with Villans in their teams.
Let’s check in with the weekend scores in the Premier League’s official FPL game and see which Villa players were the winners and losers in GW25.
Top Aston Villa FPL scorers in GW25
There are no shocks among the Villa scorers this week. Morgan Rogers tops the rankings with 10 points thanks to a goal and some bonus points, with goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez next in line with six points gleaned from seven saves and two bonus points.
Jadon Sancho grabbed four points with his assist for the Villa goal, while Lucas Digne and Amadou Onana picked up three points apiece.
Matty Cash is still in double figures after weeks on end of being within one proper contribution of becoming just the second Villa player to hit the 100 points marker. He’s on 99 now so he’ll get there on Wednesday, all things being equal.

AVF FPL update GW25
Let’s get this out of the way first: I bagged 80 points and climbed five places in GW25. Have some of that!
Our highest scorer of the week was Abdelrhman Gooda, whose 94 points courtesy of the deft choice to make Cole Palmer captain result in a move up to second and huge ground made up on leader Gary James.
GW26 is a chance to double up on Arsenal players and, if you’ve lost the plot, Wolverhampton Wanderers players. I hope you haven’t forgotten. Honest.
There were gains in the top ten for Rich Brute, Thomas Holder and Steven Smith. Thomas and Steven started and ended the week on the same number of points as one another and I imagine they’re both thrilled about it.
There’s no change in the bottom five but John Mortimer is now level on points with James Brownrigg, who drops to sixth-bottom. Lucy Smith is in last place but made a big gain on Graeme Vincent.
