Michael Carrick’s Manchester United team to face West Ham United on Tuesday night has been officially announced.
After Manchester United beat Tottenham 2-0 over the weekend, the Red Devils are on a roll, and another victory tonight would be five in a row under Michael Carrick.
This remarkable form has tipped United’s season on its head, and Carrick could potentially have his team third in the league after this round of games, if Aston Villa are beaten by Brighton on Wednesday.
After the game against West Ham, United doesn’t play again until Monday, the 23rd of February, when Everton’s Hill Dickinson is the venue.
Calls for Carrick to get the permanent job are reaching fever pitch, but West Ham presents a tricky test, one United haven’t passed in three attempts.

Unsurprisingly, Carrick has gone with another really strong and unchanged side despite the quick turnaround post Tottenham, with nearly two weeks off after this.

Senne Lammens starts in goal, and the backline ahead of him is an unchanged back four for a fifth consecutive match, keeping a winning group together.
Meanwhile, the midfield and attack are all unchanged despite Bryan Mbeumo injury worries after he was spotted limping after the win against Spurs.
Carrick hasn’t rotated with two weeks between matches, which is hard to argue with and the consistency in the team selection is the correct call given the team has four straight wins.
United rarely were unchanged under Ruben Amorim, so it’s a real positive that Carrick has changed this.
