Man Utd were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham United in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
United named an unchanged side for their trip to the London Stadium, but had to rely on their substitutes to rescue a late point at the London Stadium. Tomas Soucek gave the home side the lead in the match, only for Benjamin Sesko to salvage a point when he produced an excellent finish deep into added time.
United were fortunate to avoid defeat in East London after a lacklustre performance in which they struggled to create opportunities, on what was a rare off night for just about every attacker that started the match. Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee provided an extra spark when they were introduced from the bench, while Leny Yoro also made a huge contribution in defence.

United lacked ‘sharpness’ in West Ham draw
Speaking after Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham, head coach Michael Carrick put the performance down to a lack of ‘sharpness’ in their game.
"We were ok. I think we were a little disappointed and we were definitely not at our best,” he told TNT Sports. “It's times like that when you find a way and move on. I'm a little frustrated at that. It is a tough place to come and we didn't have that sharpness to find the answers. Great spirit again and we will take the point and move on."
He added: "For where we are and being together for a short space of time, In the end we have took a point. It didn't come easy and tonight we found a way to take a point. We will take some positives from it."
Benjamin Sesko was one of the positives as he came off the bench to grab an important goal, and Carrick was delighted with the contribution he made during his time on the pitch. "Fantastic finish. He has done it again. It is important. It is a great finish. Delighted for him. Another big goal and a good step."
