Manchester United dropped points for the first time under Michael Carrick against his former club, West Ham.
Although Manchester United drew 1-1 with West Ham to see a win streak under Michael Carrick come to an end, the Red Devils remain unbeaten since the 44-year-old returned to the club.
The first half was played at a slow tempo, with both sides playing cautiously.
Then, the game changed when West Ham opened the scoring in the 50th minute through Thomas Soucek, who was the best player on the pitch for the home side.

The winning streak is over… but we stay unbeaten!
Although West Ham sat back after taking the lead, they caught United multiple times on the counter-attack and forced Senne Lammens into multiple saves.
Michael Carrick got more forwards on the pitch, including Benjamin Seko, who scored the crucial equaliser in the 96th minute.
The draw means United remain in the Premier League’s top four.

Winners
Leny Yoro
Coming on with Sesko in the 69th minute, Leny Yoro looked like a player with fire in his belly and something to prove after being benched for Carrick’s first five matches.
Yoro replaced Maguire, who impressed again in the heart of defence, but the French youngster was called upon on several occasions to defend as the last man.
It was the sort of performance that will stand to Yoro in the future. Carrick knows he has a quality defender ready to step in, if he wasn’t already aware of that.
Benjamin Sesko
Another player knocking on the door of the starting line-up is Sesko, with his fifth goal in his last six appearances.
The goal came at a crucial time to ensure United rescued a point to remain in the top four. It will also lead to more questions for Carrick about whether Sesko deserves a start in the upcoming games.
Carrick may want to repay Sesko after his winner in United’s 3-2 win over Fulham before securing a point against West Ham.

Losers
Luke Shaw
Luke Shaw was guilty of letting the ball bounce for the opening goal, which gave West Ham an advantage in the final third.
The left-back took himself out of the defensive picture when he dived in too early in a failed attempt to win back possession.
Despite being on a brilliant run of form, Shaw’s lapse in concentration cost United three points against West Ham.
Diogo Dalot
It was a poor display defensively from Diogo Dalot, who was put under pressure on far too many occasions by Crysencio Summerville.
The West Ham winger had the better of Dalot throughout the game, leading to the Portugal international jumping into a rash challenge on the winger and picking up a yellow card for his clumsy efforts.

Amad Diallo
Amad Diallo offered nothing against West Ham when he’d usually cause the opponent problems down the flank.
That wasn’t the case on Tuesday night, and it had a negative influence on United’s attack.
It looked like the Ivorian was running out of steam.
