Everton crumbled in the second-half against Bournemouth and ended up losing 2-1 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton went down to 10 men when Jake O’Brien was sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity, so that certainly didn’t help.
But in truth, the Toffees lost control of the game prior to that, and there were a number of defensive frailties on show.
HOW on earth have Everton ended up losing that? 😡
Something drastically needs to change on home soil… 🫣

The full-back areas have been a problem all season, and that was made evident for the first goal, when Rayan headed in at the back post.
With that said, David Moyes must now move away from his stubbornness and drop one first-teamer for the next game against Manchester United.
What would your message to David Moyes be after another loss at home? 😫
He seemed fairly pleased with his players despite the defeat 😬

David Moyes needs to drop Vitalii Mykolenko after Everton vs Bournemouth
Everton fans have been very critical of Vitalii Mykolenko this season, with the left-back a consistent underperformer.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Mykolenko isn’t a threat going forward at all, and he certainly doesn’t make up for it with his defensive duties.
The Ukraine international was heavily at fault for Bournemouth’s first goal, as he allowed Rayan to get a free header at the back post.
As evinced by his Sofascore, he was so wasteful in possession of the ball and failed to even register one tackle.
Mykolenko’s dreadful performance should see him dropped going forward, with Adam Aznou eagerly awaiting his chance.

What is going so wrong at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for Everton? 😳
It is now less than one win in every three following the loss against Bournemouth… 😤

It’s time for Everton to start Adam Aznou
Aznou arrived from Bayern Munich with a big reputation last summer, but he’s not even played a single minute of Premier League football yet.
Aznou looked really impressive aganist Sunderland in the FA Cup last month, and his attitude in training has been impressing people around Finch Farm.
Who was Everton’s biggest let down in that defeat to Bournemouth? 😤
There were a number of really poor displays out there! ❌

So, he certainly deserves his chance in place of Mykolenko, otherwise it begs the question; what was the point of signing him?
Moyes has admitted Aznou needs to improve physically before he’s ready for the Premier League, but there have been reports that he’s been working hard in the gym since the autumn. So surely that’s no longer a valid excuse.
It’s time to drop the stubbornness and give the young Moroccan an opportunity.
