Everton’s dismal record at the Hill Dickinson Stadium continued on Tuesday evening.
As the rain poured down on Merseyside, David Moyes watched his side’s 1-0 lead washed away in the space of a chaotic eight-minute spell.
Despite now being in February, Everton are still awaiting their first victory of the year at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Moyes refused to comment on the referee’s decisions in what was a particularly spiky post-match press conference from the 62-year-old.
Bournemouth’s second goal has come under scrutiny after Enus Unal maintained an offside position throughout the free-kick, but was not ruled offside in the build-up to the goal.

“Enus Unal is in an offside position when the free kick is played into the area. To be punished for offside, he needs to touch the ball or interferes with the defender’s ability to play the ball,” Clattenburg told Everton News.
“He does neither so he cannot be punished for being in that position.
“The ball from the free kick is headed by James Hill across goal and headed into the goal by Amine Adli. The goal was rightly given.”
Everton only have themselves to blame for the loss on Tuesday night, with missed opportunities really costing them.
James Tarkowski issued an indirect dig at Thierno Barry for his misses on the night in what proved costly for their European hopes.
Everton’s home form will cost them European qualification
A lot of fans will be sick of hearing this, but European qualification is very much still a possibility this season.
Everton’s Premier League rivals just simply are not running away with the positions despite the dreadful form at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Moyes would love Everton to qualify for Europe this season and it is clear what needs to change for them to do so.
The Blues have not won on home soil since the beginning of December and that is simply not good enough for a side wanting to compete at that level.
