Everton witnessed three points completely slip through their fingers on Tuesday evening on Merseyside.
Iliman Ndiaye provided the Blues with the lead, but a spell of utter madness in the second half quickly saw Everton come undone.
It was another frustrating evening for David Moyes at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and his anger could be seen in the scenes after full-time.
The 62-year-old was not particularly talkative in the post-match interviews, but he still managed to convey his annoyance.
James Tarkowski could not believe Thierno Barry’s misses, which certainly contributed to the defeat on Merseyside.

The Frenchman has shown some improved form in front of goal over the last month or so.
However, he missed two absolute sitters on Tuesday evening, and Moyes could not hide his disappointment after the game.
What would your message to David Moyes be after another loss at home? 😫

“It was a game we could have won possibly. It looked as if we might have done it. It was a bit scrappy at times, but just disappointed that we gave away two really poor goals,” Moyes told Everton’s media team.
“We also missed two or three ourselves. So, we’ve only got ourselves to blame.”
“It’s only talk if you don’t score and we’re not scoring enough.”
Everton put their trust in Barry by not signing another striker; a decision which is already backfiring for the Blues.
Moyes is now going to be left with an interesting decision ahead of the game on Monday against Manchester United.
Time for Beto to replace Barry in Everton’s XI
It may be a blow to his confidence, but Moyes has no other choice but to drop Barry on the back of that performance.
The Frenchman has cost Everton all three points with those two misses during the game.
Barry’s frustration was clear after being withdrawn from the game as he knew just how big of an opportunity he had to seal the points.
However, these are the types of chances that should be bread and butter for strikers wanting to play in European football.
Despite their horrendous home form, European qualification is still in Everton’s reach, but something is going to have to change in front of goal.
