Aston Villa right-back Matty Cash has not been included in the squad to face Brighton this evening.
The 28-year-old is missing due to a knee injury, but it is expected that it won’t keep him out for long.
Villa play Newcastle United in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday, which Cash is due to miss as well.
He could return to action for the home match against Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday, February 21.
Villa are already without midfield trio John McGinn, Youri Tielemans and Boubacar Kamara.

McGinn is expected back in around three weeks, while Tielemans may not return until after the March international break.
Kamara, however, is sidelined for the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury during Villa’s FA Cup third-round win at Tottenham Hotspur last month.
Meanwhile, Brazilian winger Alysson has been named in the matchday squad for the first time since joining the club from Gremio.
