He said: “I set myself a target at the start of the season, knowing that I can reach it. I’m really close to that now.

“I always wanted to play in midfield because I enjoy getting on the ball and moving it forwards. I’ve always had an attacking instinct since playing for Austria (U17s).

“I played as a striker for my country, so I developed that ability and got used to getting into areas to score goals.

“Me scoring goals, and helping the team in doing so, gives us all a bit of a boost to put in performances. It’s always a good feeling to score.

“I try and get on the scoresheet as often as I can, or create goals when I’m able to. We need to score more goals, so we’re all pushing each other to contribute.

“It’s always a good feeling to get recognition, but I know I’ve got a long way to go in my development. I just need to continue my progress, keep my head down, and focus on what I do best.
