Mohamed Salah now has the joint-most Premier League assists for Liverpool.
The Egyptian provided the corner Virgil van Dijk headed in at Sunderland on Wednesday night to secure a 1-0 victory.
It was the 92nd occasion of Salah setting up a goal for the Reds in the competition, matching the total Steven Gerrard amassed across his 17 seasons.
Salah, who registered a top-flight assist during his Chelsea career, also moved into joint-seventh spot on the Premier League's all-time list for the statistic, alongside former Manchester City playmaker David Silva.
