Nottingham Forest fires Dyche as club remains in relegation battle

Nottingham Forest is making another change as the club fired manager Sean Dyche after a scoreless draw against bottom of the table Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.

Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach.

Dyche was hired in October to replace Ange Postecoglou, who only spent 39 days in charge and was let go after six losses and two draws to start his tenure with the team.

Postecoglou himself replaced Nuno Espirito Santo when he was sacked in September.

“We would like to thank Sean and his staff for their efforts during their time at the Club and we wish them the best of luck for the future,” Nottingham Forest said in a statement. “We will be making no further comment at this time.”

The draw moved Nottingham Forest to three points out of the relegation zone, which currently consists of West Ham United, Burnley and Wolves.

Dyche for his part managed to gain 18 points from the 22 Premier League game he guided Forest through.
