The Englishman won the man of the match award for his performance and was rightly hailed as his good recent form continued at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Hill made a number of key interventions at the back, and picked up his third assist of the season, as he headed an Alex Scott free kick back across goal for Amine Adli to head home what turned out to be the winning goal.
Iraola was pleased to see his side score two headers, with the equaliser coming from the head of Rayan, and he praised Hill for his role in both offensive and defensive set plays.

“I think we haven't scored a lot of headers this season, probably today more than all the season with these two headed goals,” the boss told the Daily Echo when asked about the second goal and Hill's role.
“I think Hilly has been defensively and offensively in set plays key for us because they are massive, they have four or five super tall players.
“And he has been dealing with first contacts, first aerial duels in both boxes very, very well.”
