Everton’s home form seriously needs to improve if the Blues are going to stand any chance of securing a spot in Europe.
David Moyes’ side somehow threw away all three points against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening and managed to leave empty handed.
This is becoming a worrying trend for an Everton side who have been the complete opposite on the road this season.
After the game on Tuesday, Moyes could not believe some of Everton’s missed chances that he witnessed from the sideline.
Everton’s issues in front of goal have followed them around for most of the season now.

Alan Shearer fully agrees with David Moyes’ Everton concern

“I agree with David Moyes in what he said. They had one or two really good chances to get a second goal, then it would have been a lot more difficult for Bournemouth,” he said.
“They’ve only got themselves to blame.”
Moyes is pushing Everton towards European qualification, but the Toffees are costing themselves too many points to slip away from their grasp.
Opportunities like Barry had in the game on Tuesday simply have to be put away if any side wants to be finishing inside the European spots.
Everton’s search for a striker will go into the summer
Everton News understands that Everton were keen to sign a striker in January, but the options available did not convince the club of a winter move.
Not spending for the sake of it is the right move, but it has certainly left Everton with some questionable options for the remaining months of the season.
Barry was left frustrated after being removed by Moyes on Tuesday evening and it is no real surprise given the chances he missed.
It will now be interesting to see which striker the 62-year-old goes with for the game against Manchester United on Monday evening.
However Everton see out this season, signing a new striker in the summer already feels like an absolute must.
